Rory Easton is also confirmed as selected for the U19 World Juniors team event to take place in Russia in October. Rory has now moved to Milton Keynes to train full time so not really one of our juniors any more and we won't be reporting his results on this webpage!! If you are interested in watching his progress in this new phase of his badminton career he is on Instagram.
Kent Junior Restricted 15th 16th September
One of our best years with titles in all but one of the events going to HBC coached junior players. Well done to everyone and the coaches!

Congratulations to all participants. It was lovely watching the Castlemaine Badminton Centre full of so many young players competing against the established senior players. Especial thanks to the uni students who travelled back to compete despite the awkward date just after the start of term.
Notable results:
Holly Williams and Sofia Bao dominated the ladies singles event with Holly winning in the end.
Mehar Bijral won the mens singles title against a tiring Harry Hodges who had fought valiantly through the Mixed doubles event that morning to reach the semi final. (Mehar had sensibly rested!). Hopefully both these players will be able to represent Kent this season in the Senior Team.
The women's doubles final was an all teenage affair with Holly and Emily beating Emma and Jess. Both of these young pairs had beaten and number of adult pairings to reach the final.
Fantastic start to the season as Holly Williams wins silver and bronze with her partners (Estelle and Cholan) in the U17 European Championships Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles events.
