Hildenborough Badminton Club
is a friendly but competitive club of approx 60 active adult players & 100 juniors.
Our senior clubnight is held each Monday night at Hugh Christie School, Tonbridge. The senior club fields 12 teams in the Tunbridge Wells Badminton League which has a competitive season running from early October to mid May. The coached Junior sessions are held at various venues on different days in Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Swanley (please see Junior Coaching for details).

Our junior section is one of the most active in Kent with over 20 juniors representing the County & a few making an impression in the national rankings. We are fortunate to have Jo Muggeridge (ex British #1) as one of our lead coaches as well as a several other lead coaches including John Sweet (County U15 coach) & Alex Easton (ex County U13 coach).
We are continually on the look out for new, young, sporty youngsters to try out our sport & join the ranks of junior players we have in our team.

Mens' A retain their Premier League title with an undefeated 2011/12 season. They look a mottley crew but you can't argue with the results!!

This event is not fund raising and in fact is being heavily subsidised by club funds, please come along and help us celebrate this significant anniversary.
Barn Dance, Hildenborough Village Hall, hot meal, BYO drinks or buy from social club, tickets (£15 including hot meal and glass of bubbly) on sale now.
New club shirts - a few left in stock. Cost £23.50 (junior shirts £20.50) which is well below normal retail price for these Forza shirts. Contact Tara.
JUNIOR MEMBERS:
Sat 21st March: Coaches Jo and Tracey add the All England senior ladies doubles title to the Senior World title they won last August. And they didn't drop a set!!
40th Anniversary Barn Dance: Sat 26th May @Hildenborough Village Hall. Subsidised event (tickets only £15), please join HBC members old and new to celebrate 40 years of local badminton. Tickets from Tara or Steff.
TWBL Open: 2nd June @Sevenoaks School. U11, U13, U15 singles and doubles.
We have decided to host this event following positive feedback from junior players. Entry forms to download - "Junior Fixtures/Tournaments". Send them in NOW please.
